Szenografie "Motherhood I/ II" Zürich, Hamburg, Mainz
Intervention
The scenography for the two theatre performances Motherhood I (A Performance Evaluation) and Motherhood II (23hrs19mins) explores the spatial systems of organisation and structure underlying everyday activities, and provides the actresses with a set of devices to break free from the rigid constraints of the theatre space and the script. In doing so, the initial proscenium stage breaks free from Miesian depth gradation, moving towards a postmodern flow of space.
