The floors and ceilings of the historic commercial building subsided after the construction of the Seefeld tram line. This deformation was never structurally corrected during the numerous conversion phases, but was instead built over with new layers and thus new weight. Our conversion concept is based on the controlled dismantling of all lightweight interior walls and the radical subtractive levelling of all existing layers - an architectural search for traces.
